Hi! I'm K, the gal behind Understory Photography. I'm a 'berta-born, music-playing, forest-frolicking gal who loves to laugh obnoxiously (be prepared). I am a very grateful landed immigrant of the Island, and I love the life I share with my beautiful family.
The understory is the layer of vegetation that sits between the forest floor and the towering trees above. I chose to name my business after it, because I think it encapsulates my vision: to capture the beautiful moments that happen in-between the chaos and connection of real life.
